Zaadz is Dutch for "seed".
It's like an on-line Intentional Community. Unlike most other social networking sites, Zaadz is making special effort to build networks of people who are described as "Cultural Creatives" and who engage in "Conscious Capitalism" to build enterprises, products and services that are focused on promoting a sustainable future for all of us.
What you'll find there is a gathering place of people whose primary focus is to share worthwhile information and build relationships that will help us all move forward. The site is designed to bring people together of similar interests, with the added dimension of FOCUS!.
For example, Healing Arts Central! on Zaadz is a place where people from all over can gather together and explore threads related to the joys, wonders and challenges of the healing arts and becoming a healer -- regardless of the modality of healing practiced.
The site itself is designed to be useful to anyone wanting to take a look at their own relationship with the healing arts, and remember, that covers a lot of territory!.
Zaadz' system provides easy-to-use tools that make it simple for techno-idiots like myself to navigate through this whole internet connection thing (which today, I barely understand!).
They make it very easy to build forums, initiate and contribute to blogs, and they provide a space to show videos and pictures, and they're working on newsletter distribution as well.
Let's see...it's not a cult, it's not a people-pyramid scheme, it's not an MLM enterprise, an off-shore tax dodge, part of the multi-national corporate conspiracy, or even cruel to animals. Come hang out with me and see for yourself!
